Robert P. Steinfeld, M.D., FACS is now in his 5th decade of practicing medicine and surgery. He is a board certified general surgeon having practiced surgery for 40 years.  Included for the past 15 years he has been practicing complementary and alternative medicine treating a diverse array of medical problems in an integrative manner. He is certified in nutrition, natural hormonal replacement, anti-aging therapies, chelation therapy, alternative cancer therapies, and mesotherapy. With his vast extensive medical experience in both conventional western medicine and alternative therapies he offers his patients the best of both worlds.

Dr. Steinfeld is listed in Connolly’s Best Physician in the Tri-State Area, as well as Who’s Who in Medicine and Surgery. He was clinical assistant professor in the surgical department at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Newark, NJ where he taught medical students, as well as residents. He has lectured extensively in the field of alternative therapies and been a guest on numerous radio and television programs.

Dr. Steinfeld is married, father of four, and grandfather of 10. He graduated from Columbia University, Boston University School of Medicine and did his surgical residency in Connecticut. He is certified by the American board of General Surgery; a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons; International College of Abdominal Surgeons and a member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine.
